The GOONIES house!!! We loved it! It was so fun to see the Goonies house! We all walked up to the house and took photos in front of it...sorry, but you mostly see my family! I hope others will add their photos, too!
Brandon, my husband, "helped" our little girl do the Truffle Shuffle. I video taped it and then he posted it online. The things you do when you are a parent!
We also met up with Larry, Judy, Lori and her husband Josh at the Goonies house. At this point our group was almost complete, except for Eric and Amber, who came the next night and only stayed one night.

Ferrin Family Reunion - Summer 2010 - Astoria, OR
These are photos we took inside Steve's work. We got to go and explore the garages. He showed us a really cool car that the art students painted...Cecily and Ariel are posing on it for us! We even got to meet their "office" cat...can't remember his name, but he lives in the building.
Ferrin Family Reunion - Summer 2010 - Astoria, OR
This is Thursday morning and we are all in Steve and Kathy's motel room getting ready to head out for the day. Our first stop was the college where Steve works. Then we headed to the Goonies house! Truffel Shuffle!
Then we went to the old County Jail House that was used in the movie Goonies....you know...the jail that one of the Frattelli brothers breaks out of and then they light the parking lot on fire with gasoline. Now it is used as a film museum. We saw a bunch of cool stuff from movies that have been filmed in Astoria. Short Circuit, Free Willy, Goonies...to name a few.
After the touring we went to Steve and Kathy's house and had a street BBQ!
Then we went to a Lewis and Clark visitor center and saw a replica of their old fort and watch a guy dress in traditional garb of the time, fire an old musket!
Last, but not least we went to Cannon Beach. This is the beach used in the Goonies movie. Haystack Rock is the rock that they matched the Doubloon with. We walked on the beach, the kids played, Uncle Dan flew his airplane kite, and we tried to stay warm because it was a bit chilly outside!
We finished the day off with a bite to eat at Mo's restaurant on the beach!
I can't believe we packed that much into one day!!! Needless to say we were all exhausted, but it sure was fun!

Ferrin Family Reunion - Summer 2010 - Astoria, OR
Wednesday evening after everyone got into town we decided to go for a walk through a neighborhood below our motel. It was a cute little neighborhood and I took a lot of photos of the cute homes there.
I love the photo of Dan and Mike sitting on the bench enjoying the good company.
